I.S.H., Inc. has responded to the OSHA Permit Required Confined Space Standard 1910.146; by offering a Confined Space Entry Program that provides trained Confined Space Attendants, Entry Supervisors, Certified Atmospheric Testers and a Confined Space Rescue Team. Should your Confined Space Entry Program require continuous atmospheric monitoring, we maintain our own inventory of meters on site.
The Confined Space Standard mandates that attendants must be specially trained for this activity. I.S.H., Inc. will hire local workers and put them through 16 hours of training in fire watch duties, confined space entry procedures, continuous atmospheric monitoring and basic first aid and CPR. Training and supervision of the work force will be the responsibility of our Entry Supervisors. We use safety professionals with a strong petrochemical and operating facility background. They are qualified and experienced in permit issuing. This gives you the comfort of knowing your confined space entries are controlled competently.
The confined space entry program offers you the advantage of central control of labor. This eliminates more than one contractor assigning an attendant to the same hole, by that, providing more control at less cost. One important aspect of the confined space standard is response to emergencies. By using our program, you gain organization during an evacuation by having one source to account for all confined spaces being cleared. Rapid accountability is made possible because of using our Confined Space Entry & Exit Log.
Confined Space Rescue is another concern mandated in the new standard. Our Confined Space Attendants will be trained in First Aid, CPR and proper response to rescue situations. Additionally, we offer Confined Space Rescue Services. This would be a fully trained and equipped Rescue Team on site to respond to emergencies. Rescue Team membership is composed of select attendants who receive special rescue training and certification. Entry Supervisors will act as Rescue Team Leaders and have a minimum certification as a First Responder.
When the need is for experienced and mature personnel at an unusually low cost, it makes sense to contact I.S.H., Inc. for manway attendant personnel.
Completely trained and experienced personnel are readily available from I.S.H., Inc. at a cost of $16.50 to $24.50 per hour, depending on location.
